Ancient Wisdom Alive in Us

This is the age of anxiety and alienation. Technology sped our lives until we were afraid of living and dizzy with phobias. We were promised more time and more money, but instead only the relatively few were able to realize it. The high priests of technology continue to promise a better life. Soon we will have better drugs to cope with the exhaustion and emptiness. Soon we will be better engineered to fit into a system that doesn't support healthy human functioning and emotional growth. Soon we will be modified and mechanized so that the human race will have devised its own end. We are prompted, pushed, programmed, and conditioned to accept the inevitable as if there is no other alternative.

Yet, that is their story and their creation; we don't accept this myth. We are children of a higher wisdom that is still strong in humanity. Our ancestors are the noble elders of all great traditional societies beckoning for us to break free from our chains. We are welcomed by nature, and don't feel alienated by fresh air or water running naturally. We have a love for and a kinship with all life, and seek to live in harmony with all living beings. This is the alternative not advertised and unknown to most. But, it is our duty to prompt others to a greater vision. We do this by our lifestyle and our life choices. We do this by a shared love and compassion that is plainly evident to others. We do this by sitting still and just being.
