Can I establish my own Law of One Sanctuary? Can my home be used as a Law of One Sanctuary?
Yes, you may establish your own Law of One Sanctuary under the condition that you: A) Allow your sanctuary to be used as a spiritual center for Lo1S members and other spiritual truth seekers to come together by your invitation and permission; and B) Commit to the vision of the Law of One Society and the principles stated on our Mission Statement.
Law of One Sanctuaries are meant to be independently created, owned and operated private facilities. Thus, the creators of this website, the greater Law of One Society network, and all other local Lo1S's are neither responsible nor required to offer any form of assistance, financial or otherwise. The owner and operator of the Law of One Sanctuary is free to accept volunteer and/or paid assistance, provided that he/she assumes responsibility for any contracts signed, agreements made, and monetary compensation required for cost of materials or services rendered.
You may also use your home as a Law of One Sanctuary, which is in many ways a lot easier to operate and maintain. Again, your Law of One Sanctuary is an independent and privately owned/operated facility. Thus, you are free to operate and maintain your Sanctuary how ever way you like, provided that you assume responsibility for your operations and that your Sanctuary stays true to the spirit of our Mission Statement. You can also name your Sanctuary whatever name you like, provided that it remains true to the vision and principles of the Law of One Society. The creators of this website, the greater Law of One Society network and all other Lo1S's and Sanctuaries are not responsible for the creation, development, maintenance, contractual agreements made, and operations performed by you, your Law of One Sanctuary and/or anyone who resides and/or uses it.
Creating and maintaining a Law of One Sanctuary is a major commitment that requires investing much of yourself into the project, and not everyone is up for this kind of responsibility. It takes a lot of patience, devotion, leadership, vision and passion to run your own Law of One Sanctuary to share with otherselves, but it certainly can be a most spiritually rewarding experience. Your Law of One Sanctuary shall be seen as a beacon that embodies the vision and hope for a Law of One Society.
